Welcome to the all new TAP Fair Housing Education and Outreach Program (FHEOP) Website. This program is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to educate and increase awareness in our communities of the Fair Housing Act.

TAP’s mission is to help our citizens escape poverty, become self-sufficient and those disenfranchised from society to become part of the American dream. The FHEOP’s goal is to act in accordance with the mission of TAP and compliance with the fair housing laws by informing residents of our communities of their civil rights to avoid being discriminated against and create equal housing opportunities.

The FHEOP services the 5th Planning District for the State of Virginia which include, the counties of Alleghany, Botetourt, Craig, Roanoke, Rockbridge, the cities of Buena Vista, Clifton Forge, Covington, Lexington, Roanoke, Salem and the town of Vinton.
